Touched By A Monkey

I couldn't decide whether to take my monkey to the fair this year. I think the Silver Dollar Fair pales in comparison to the Siskiyou Golden Fair I grew up on (just look at their names: silver dollar; golden. Which sounds worth more to you?)
Anyway, the idea of seeing Alec enjoy various farm animal babies won out and he and I went Sunday afternoon while Dad was at work. Alec saw a little circus, the midway and lots of animals. In fact, he asked to see the animals again by name: Cow, Horse, Pig, Sheep (Baa!), Bunny (Hop), Duck--even Goat. And we only spent $15.
Oh, but the monkey scratched my hand a bit when it took my quarter. Hence the title: Touched By A Monkey. (And yes, I did break out the hand sanitizer afterward.)
